Kalan
The company Kalan, located in Saint-Thuriau (Brittany), was founded in 2007. The company is situated on the same production site as Celtipak, one of its sister companies. It is specialized in the production and international sale of cling films made of Vinyl and Polyethylene for food packaging.
Kalan sells its products to professionals in France and abroad in close collaboration with its sister companies: Caux Films, Meliopak, and Fine Packaging.
Caux Films
Caux Films, located in Fécamp (Normandy) was acquired by the group in 2016 and Kalan shared all its expertise with this new factory. Since then, Caux Films produce cling films using the same manufacturing process as Kalan. One of the significant advantages of Caux Films is its strategic location for export, being close to the port of Le Havre.
Our products
Kalan and Caux Films have a well-known expertise in the production of cling films.
We are highly demanding in all stages of our manufacturing process ensuring our products are as efficient as possible. They must prevent odour transfer, protect food, preserve freshness, and enhance the presentation of food in their packaging.
Both of our entities offer a wide range of products such as :
- Jumbo rolls intended for conversion into household rolls and rolls for professionals in the Catering sector.
- Rolls intended for retail packaging in large and medium-sized stores and large and medium-sized industries food packers.
- Refill rolls or dispenser boxes for catering.
Our expertise
With a focus on increasing the productivity and profitability of our customers, we produce long length rolls, which significantly reduce the number of changes on rewinding machines. The perfect appearance of the rolls' edges facilitates the unwinding and winding on rewinding machines.
