Our several know-how
Know-how in plastic sheeting calendar-extrusion
This activity began with the creation of Celtipak in 1999 in Pluméliau (Brittany). Now located in Saint-Thuriau since 2006, the company specializes in the production of calendar-extruded PS-PP-PE hard plastic sheeting and multi-layered derivatives (laminate and co-extruded) with a gas barrier. Celtipak has significant knowledge of plastic raw materials, and provides products and services adapted to customers needs both in industrial and food quality thermoform markets.

Expertise in thermoforming
The thermoforming activity began with the acquisition of Plastobreiz in 1991. Initially based in Rohan and later Pontivy, the company originally specialized in packaging for Breton biscuits. With its new factory established in Auray in 2000, Plastobreiz expanded and aimed to become a key supplier of thermoformed packaging in Brittany and beyond.
In 2010, the activity grew with the acquisition of Paullet's thermoforming business in 2010, renamed Plastoloir, which is a twin company of Plastobreiz, based in Sarthe.
These three companies – Celtipak, Plastobreiz, and Plastoloir – are working closely with Meliopak, founded in 2011. Meliopak is specialized in granulation and the recycling of thermoforming waste, providing resources for new opportunities.
Expertise in Vinyl and Polyethylene extrusion
This activity began in 2007 in Saint-Thuriau with the creation of Kalan, a company specializing in the production of cling films in Vinyl and Polyethylene.
Across the Atlantic, Fine Packaging, created in Mexico, is a joint venture created in 2011 with a local partner, which manufactures PVC cling film.
The activity expanded in 2016 in Fécamp with the creation of Caux Films, Kalan's twin company. Ideally located near the port of Le Havre, Caux Films is naturally more export-oriented.
It offers a complete range of rolls intended for food packaging in super and hypermarkets, as well as jumbo rolls intended for conversion into household rolls and rolls for the professionals in the Catering sector. Kalan also sells refill rolls, with or without dispenser boxes, upon request.
